Hi! I am a designer, not a bartender, but I have mixed drinks for the better part of my life. I'm still far from being a professional bartender though. I did however start mixing cocktails and collecting cocktail books almost 30 years ago, which in turn led me to read up about the history behind the cocktails. When was it first mixed, by whom, in what bar and when was it first published. Was there even a reason for creating it, or a reason for the invention of a certain type of liquor? (I’m looking at you, Dubonnet and Navy Grog.) This curiosity made me write my own cocktail books. First "A Year of Cocktails", and soon the follow up "Another Year of Cocktails." Each one with 52 cocktails and my illustrations with easy to follow instructions. The point of this channel is to take these cocktails and show you how to mix them. Just follow the videos to master the art of mixology, or at least the art of home bartending. Enjoy! /Erik Coucher
