I’m a Scotiabank Giller Prize-nominated writer of three novels and one book of journalism. My most recent novel, Stay Where I Can See You , was published in March 2020. No, I do not recommend publishing a book during the first days of a global pandemic. Nonetheless, it went on to win an award for Best Crime Writing in Canada 2021 (the Howard Engel Award for Best Crime Novel Set in Canada). My second novel, Everybody Has Everything , has been published in several countries and was nominated for the Scotiabank Giller Prize and the Toronto Book Award.
