Journalist & editor | I’m a freelance journalist and editor from Aotearoa, New Zealand. I mostly write longform narrative features about science in society, climate technologies, outdoor culture, and conservation. I also edit and fact-check books. Some of my favourite stories I’m written are about the role of the public in cutting-edge climate tech , through-hiking the length of New Zealand with kids , unpacking kākāpō DNA , and what it takes to win the Great Easter Bunny Hunt . I co-run the small press Homeward Books , which publishes genre-bending novels.
