About Us - April Lane's House Cleaning Skip to content About Us In 1987, UW graduate Renee Pascoe O’Brien started a house cleaning company named Student Cleaning. In 1994, single mom April Lane started her own house cleaning company, I Love to Clean. Then one day, in the summer of 1999, I Love to Clean bought Student Cleaning, taking April out of the field where she’d cleaned for years. She personally trained her growing staff, and moved into the office where she was tasked to learn the business side of cleaning. Learn she did.
