Donate Volunteer 2014 Dr. Nicole McArthur created NOMV on October 1, 2014, following the suicide of world-renowned veterinarian, Dr. Sophia Yin. Dr. McArthur invited her friends to a facebook group to discuss the challenges of veterinary medicine. 2017 NOMV gained 501(c)3 status allowing us to pursue programming that would focus on changing the industry for the better. 2020 What started as a Facebook forum for veterinarians expanded with additional forums, education initiatives, and peer support. 20
