I started while I was in high school and have enjoyed this hobby ever since. I earned a B.S. in Environmental Forest and Biology and now teach middle school science and social studies. I have traveled across the U.S., from Alaska to Florida, Nevada to Maine. I still have many places to go to see new birds. My life list currently stands at 440, having picked up 1 rarity during the winter.
