About Us North Queenslands source for high quality 28mm historical gaming figurines. Elite Miniatures is an online store specialising in high quality 28mm historical gaming figurines. Based in Townsville, North Queensland, Australia. Elite Miniatures was established in 1996 by Nathan Vinson and Scott Robertson, both Veterans of the Australian Army. In 1997, Nathan bought out Scott to become the sole proprietor of Elite Miniatures. During the intervening years, we have also been supported by Leroy Simpson and John McGuire. Beginning as a Licenced Manufacturer for Elite Miniatures we are now the sole Australian manufacturer for Elite Miniatures and Australian distributor for Empress Miniatures
