Secret Life of a Seamstress | Hi! I’m Sally, currently living in Bedfordshire with my husband, two children and our Cavapoo Alpha. I run my own small business Poppy & Primrose (www.poppyandprimrose.com) selling textile gifts and homeware but as well as running my business I am passionate about dressmaking and home sewing and love to sew for myself and my family as much as I can in my spare time, I also love to knit and I’m sure I’ll be including some knitting in this blog where I can too. Ever since I was little I have loved clothes and fashion and have always dreamed of making my own handmade wardrobe. I’m so glad that sewing and dressmaking is becoming so popular again and I’m really pleased to be part of that communit | As well as making beautiful handmade things for my lovely customer’s homes as part of my business, in my spare time I also love to sew clothes for myself and my children.
