In 1990, our carton meat business expanded with the shift to the Australian Service Coldstore in Lidcombe. This move saw Melrina operate as a stand-alone carton meat wholesale business to the local community. Throughout the 1990s, our services gradually expanded to the capital cities of Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide. This evolution of the Melrina brand created a rise in demand for our quality meat products across the country.
