She holds an MSc from the University of Guelph where she studied animal behaviour and nutrition. While working at the University of Guelph as an animal health technician for a decade, she cared for thousands of puppies and dogs ensuring their behavioural and psychological needs were met. She also helped Veterinary students, Masters students, and PhD candidates understand canine behaviour and body language and improve their handling skills.
