Howe’s The Hike? | The backcountry, as it is. It started with a simple question from my daughters: “Dad, take us into the woods you used to explore as a kid.” What began as local walks in New Brunswick evolved into a decade-long mission to capture the reality of the deep wilderness. As Evelyn and Olivia grew, so did the miles. Our packs grew heavier, our routes pushed deeper, and a shared obsession with the remote corners of the map took over our lives. I’m Stuart Howe, and I don’t believe in the "highlight reel." My videos are long-form and immersive because I want you to feel the true rhythm of an expedition: the gruelling climbs, the gear that gets us through, and the honest truth of life on the trail.
