Life had a funny way of pushing me into travel over 20 years ago. At first it was an email list to friends on my first European trip without family in 2002. It then continued with the emails but also morphed into a blog in 2006 named for my name with photos and some short descriptions. In 2008 I launched my site beyondmyfrontdoor.com which was the start of this particular blog format. And then again later shortened it to its current name (mostly to match Social media and for ease of remembrance of typing). The blog is a mix of stories and information.
