Hey everyone! Thanks for stopping by my channel. My trail name is Hilltackler and my given name is Maria. I am a four season backpacker from Long Island, New York. I am very fortunate to live within a few hours drive of some of the most premier hiking trails on the East Coast. I am excited to share my passion for backpacking and trip videos on this platform. Over the years I have come to really come to enjoy long distance backpacking and spending more nights on the trail. Most recently, I have taken to solo backpacking which I REALLY enjoy! This channel is my passion project and I am excited to share my trip videos, gear reviews and all things backpacking on this platform. I am a self admitted gear junkie! All the gear I use and talk about has been purchased by me.
