Jens Larsen

Biography Jazz guitarist and composer, based in the Netherlands since 1998. Jens Larsen was born in Denmark in 1973. He started playing guitar at the age of 12. After graduating from high school Jens studied mathematics and computer science at the University of Aarhus where he graduated in 1995. While studying here he played and performed rock and blues music around town and university, but also started to develop an interest for Jazz. After two years in Copenhagen he did entrance exam at the Royal Conservatory in the Hague. Here he was accepted and studied jazz guitar from 1998 to 2004, graduating cum laude with a masters degree in 2004. While there he got the chance to perform with Jim McN
