Blueberry Hill Classics: John and Nicole McGillis About Us It all began in 2005 when we were looking for an affordable travel trailer for family camping trips. We just couldn't bring ourselves to buy a standard white box camper, and this eventually led us to a 1964 Shasta Airflyte in Des Moines. We drove 6 hours to see it and fell in love instantly. We restored it and made the Midwest Vintage Trailer Rally our first big trip. And that was the start of our obsession with vintage travel trailers. Since that first restoration, we have restored many Shastas, a Forester, a fiberglass Burro, a Cardinal, and an Airstream.
