About Me From its founding in 2017 The Opera Queen has endeavored to share the worlds of opera, classical music, and various forms of cultural expression through the lenses of history, performance practices, politics, and media, with the interview as a primary means of exploration. Most recently I have contributed liner notes to two opera releases via EuroArts, for Bellini’s Norma and Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor respectively, written about Italian opera for boutique publication Sorbet , and reported on the 2025 vocal edition of Concours musical international de Montréal (CMIM) for British magazine Opera Now .
