About me | Anna's Island Style --> Anna's Island Style About me I'm Anna Parkes, a 61-year-old wife and mother. I live on a tiny island 28 miles off the Southwest of Cornwall where I run a small art gallery. I love clothes. I love buying them, customising them, finding prize pieces in charity shops and I love the challenge of styling them in my own particular way. My Scottish heritage informs a lot of my fashion choices and my inspiration also comes from the Fabulous Fashionistas, a group of glamorous over 70's ladies featured in a documentary on Channel 4 in 2013.
