About Us Tucson Organic Gardeners 2026-03-20T04:35:02-07:00 About Us In 1971, several friends who gardened organically decided to meet monthly to discuss gardening without pesticides, herbicides, and harmful chemicals. In 1992, the group incorporated as the nonprofit “Tucson Organic Gardeners”. TOG organizes two plant fairs (spring and fall) at St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church for local vendors of plants and gardening-related products. We meet monthly to share educational presentations and social time. Speakers emphasize organic methods such as composting, natural pest control and rainwater harvesting.
