Some of you may know me from the books I've written about television, including What Were They Thinking? The 100 Dumbest Events in Television History, Obsessed With TV, and companion guides to Charlie's Angels (written with Jack Condon) and The Dukes of Hazzard. I've convinced myself that these achievements are sufficient qualification for the status of television historian, and as there's no official test required for this designation, I'll stick with it.
