What happens as we enter middle age and realize we | What is a midlife crisis? Not sure I know what midlife means, much less midlife crisis. I do know that for several years, I’ve had an itch—no, I don’t need Calamine lotion or a backscratcher—but I’ve had an itch that goes much deeper than skin-deep. It’s much more challenging to pinpoint. This itch reaches into my mind, heart and soul. Into my core. I’m pretty sure I’m not having a midlife crisis. I think it’s something else.
