I'm passionate about food, health, and the human microbiome. I create recipes that support healthy lifestyles and special diets. I have a degree in chemistry, I've taught science, was a medical researcher for a few years, and then worked in the tech world for over 20 years. I started sharing recipes on Comfy Belly in late 2008 while working full time and caring for my boys. My older son was diagnosed with an inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and I began exploring how food could improve his health.
