Representing All California Resource Families Menu ABOUT US Our Association was established in 1972 by a group of foster parents in San Francisco who met around a kitchen table and came up with the idea to create a support system for foster parents in California. We now have over 25 chapters throughout the state and a total of almost one thousand members that join our Association annually. Our Main focus is to address issues of Foster Parents/Resource Families in California. We host quarterly board meetings combined with a training in Sacramento in addition to an annual training conference hosted by different regions
