About — Victoria Marathon 0 The Royal Victoria Marathon has been taking part on the streets of Oak Bay & Victoria since 1980. Over 15,000 participants registered for the 2025 RVM, making it the largest number RVM’s 45 year history. With runners and walkers taking part in the Marathon, Outway Half Marathon, Westland Insurance 8K, Island Savings 5K and the Thrifty Foods Kids Run, 2026 is looking to set another registration record. The RVM is one of the largest annual sporting events on Vancouver Island.
