About Colorado Triathlete has been your news source for triathlon in Colorado since 1999! The founding publisher and editor, Kristen McFarland, began covering the racing scene with multiple print issues each year. Adam Hodges, an early reporter and writer for the magazine, took on the role of online editor in 2000. In 2004, Colorado Triathlete distributed its final print issue and became a fully online news source. The website underwent another major change in 2022 when Adam took over ownership of Colorado Triathlete from Kristen.
