About Happy Dog Food A Family Built Brand for Dogs We Love In June 2008, my husband Robbie and I became the new owners of Happy Dog Food, a company originally founded in 1998 by Linda Murdock. For two years before purchasing the business, we had been feeding our own dogs Happy Dog Food and absolutely loved the product. When Linda decided to retire and offered us the opportunity to continue the company she built, we jumped at the chance. Happy Dog Food had already made a huge difference in our own dogs’ lives, and we knew we wanted to share that with other dog families.
