WELCOME… Hi, I’m Carol and I’m so happy you’ve stumbled upon my little corner of the world-wide web. Welcome to The Red Painted Cottage! Mr.Cottage and I really do have a red painted cottage, which we bought over 14 years ago. Our cottage is located on a large inland lake which is attached to four other lakes via channels. Because its only 35 minutes away from our house, we try spending as much time as we can at our cottage during the warm months because it’s on a lake, it’s rustic and we love it. ABOUT US… Mr. Cottage and I met on a blind date while attending college. We’ve been married for 49 years and we have three grown children, three grandchildren, 5 granddogs and our own, Sadie Sue. I
