The first 13 years of this website were as an art education blog. All the ideas shared and lessons learned are still HERE but with most art education conversations now happening on social media, this space will shift to sharing my artwork. I spent the first 6 years of my career teaching K-6 art at two elementary schools in Topeka, KS before moving to a K-12 position at Jackson Heights schools for 8 years. Since 2023 I have been the high school art teacher at my Alma mater, Holton High School. A
