Alex Blanco (b. 1988), Ukraine Alex Blanco (b. 1988) is a female Ukrainian-born artist currently based in the Netherlands. She holds a Master’s degree in Film & Photographic Studies from Leiden University and completed a semester in Photography at the Royal Academy of Art (KABK), The Hague. Blanco is the author of Meat, Fish & Aubergine Caviar , published in 2023 by Overlapse (UK). The photographic series of the same name was featured in the Fotomuseum Den Haag exhibition Ouders (Parents) in 2022 and later became part of the museum’s permanent collection.
