About — Create Dinners Menu Note from our Founder, Kate: As a Texas native, I grew up spoiled by southern hospitality and good food. There was never a table too small to fit an extra seat or a shortage of food for unexpected guests. Conversation was infused with curiosity, kindness, and encouragement, and it wasn’t until later that I realized this way of living and gathering wasn’t everyone’s experience. I wanted to find a way to share it. Create Dinners started in May 2016 with Dinner No. 1 and we’ve since expanded to workshops, intimate weddings, and branded events, although our women’s dinner series remains to be the heart of this company.
