Anne Can't Stand It! came to life on September 1, 2021. Since then, my Substack blog has grown to 5,000+ subscribers, reaching people and in the US and around the world in a variety of ways: A subscriber in Minnesota buys advertising space in her local newspaper to publish my cartoons. The UK-based World Council for Health signed me on as illustrator for their Great FreeSet Campaign. Australia Exits the WHO used an Anne Can’t Stand It! cartoon for their outreach events. The White Rose UK included several of my cartoons in a book entitled, “It’s Not Funny: Memories of Lockdown Lunacy.” Reading “What the Nurses Saw” by Ken McCarthy inspired me to do an illustration
