I know those pursuits don’t all quite seem to go together, but I’m getting comfortable with the concept that creators create in all different kinds of ways, and women contain multitudes, so (apparently) these are my multitudes. I’m currently mostly known for my work in food, as someone who has predominantly been obsessed with the intersection between cooking that is both easy and impressive looking. I got my start in food very young, cooking beside my grandmother and shadowing along at restaurants in Charleston, SC, where I grew up. I'm lucky to have been influenced by so many places -
