A letter from the founder Why I started a press. I started Double Dutch Publishing after a decades-long career in finance and trading. I have been writing fiction since I was 8 years old and wanted something to do instead of learning math. Today, with the advent of A.I., I concluded there is nothing more durable and immune to automation than genuine, human, literary talent. That is what I want to reward, and that is what I plan on doing full time for the rest of my life.
