Description
How we understand minds shapes how we understand AI, ourselves, and AI’s role in society. | About I have spent well over a decade studying minds. I’m a philosopher, writer, and public intellectual exploring the nature of minds, machines, and everything in between. I hold a PhD in the philosophy of mind from Columbia University, studied philosophy for a year at the ENS, Paris, and hold a BA in French & Psychology from Trinity College, Dublin. My work challenges the frameworks through which we understand minds and AI, and develops a positive account based on my doctoral dissertation work.
