Jenni Haikonen is an artist and illustrator of fields, flowers and open air. She specializes in impressionistic acrylic landscape paintings and watercolor botanical illustrations. She is located in Saskatoon, SK | Photos by Katee Pederson I am an botanical watercolour artist and abstract impressionistic painter living in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan with my husband. I work out of my home studio and most days you'll find me trying not to mix up my coffee with the paint water. I work in watercolours and acrylic paint and create works inspired by the natural landscape around me. I desire to reflect the relationship between the human soul, atmosphere and the land. I find myself drawn toward the Victorian Naturalist movement, the history of wildcrafting and folk medicine, as well as French Impressionism.
