About Me Urban development is a field full of good intentions and underreported successes. My work is about closing that gap, finding the initiatives that are quietly working, and making sure they reach the people who need to know about them. I am Laura Puttkamer, an urban journalist and communications consultant based in London, UK. I hold a Master’s degree in Global Urban Development and Planning, and have lived and worked in Germany, Ethiopia, India, Mexico, and the UK. I work in English, German, Spanish, and French.
