about — Birgit Buchart Menu Birgit Buchart writer | photographer Birgit Buchart is an Austrian born, Brooklyn-based photographer and writer. She studied Journalism at the Deutsche Pop Academy and English Linguistics and Literature at Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich, Germany followed by an almost 7-year-long career at the film photography company Lomography . In 2018 she transitioned from Vienna, Austria to NYC for the company in the role of the marketing manager for the North American market, before becoming General Manager and President of LomographyUSA in 2019.
