I was born and raised in Havertown, PA, where I found my love for running in middle school and high school cross country. I transitioned to trail/ultra running during college at St. Lawrence University in northern New York, where I studied conservation biology. After graduating in 2016, I spent several years working seasonal biology jobs across the western US. I lived in a very unglamorous van, worked long days, and ran a ton.
