About Me When I was in kindergarten, I tried writing then US President George Bush and Osama bin Laden, pleading them to stop the war on terror. Fast forward a few years, I participated in my first protest, holding a piece of paper with the words "GLORIA RESIGN." ​ When I was not immersed in current events, I was writing. One of my grade school teachers noticed that I had a knack for words and told me that I truly am a writer. ​ Perhaps I embraced that thought too much that when the time came to choose school clubs, I enlisted for the campus paper and stayed with it for much of my life up to high school. When it was time to choose what degrees we'll be taking in college, among my top choices
