She specializes in intricate, symbolic illustrations that celebrate diversity and the power of storytelling. | About — Christina Chung Portrait by Han Alexander Christina Chung (she/they) is a Taiwanese Hongkonger American illustrator and comic artist, raised between Seattle and Singapore, and is currently based in Brooklyn, New York. She received her BFA in Illustration from Pratt Institute and has previously taught at the University of the Arts. Her work focuses on intricacies, color and symbolism, drawing inspiration from the natural world and powerful storytelling. Alongside her illustration practice, she is also a book cover designer at Penguin Random House, on the Random House Children’s Books Young Adult covers team.
