Eatery By Emily Dear Reader, My first, most fond memories in the kitchen are those spent standing on my tippy toes, helping my mom stir fry vegetables and noodles. Although I no longer need a step stool to cook, my love for the kitchen remains. Over the years, helping my parents in the kitchen has taught me about food, flavors, family, and my culture. Growing up in an Asian household, prioritizing food and home-cooking was not only modeled, but encouraged. To me, there's no better feeling than sitting down for dinner. Being able to enjoy a meal, knowing that whatever happened is now behind you - at least for a fleeting moment - is what dinner represents for me. No matter what is consuming yo
