Danielle Bennett is an artist and children | About — Danielle Bennett Menu About I am an artist and freelance children’s book illustrator, based in southwestern Ontario, Canada. In my work, I aim to capture a feeling of warmth and whimsy. I am most inspired by the landscapes reminiscent of childhood summers spent amongst forests, lakes, and my grandmother’s garden. I primarily use traditional mixed media including gouache, watercolour, colour pencils, and pastels. I love experimenting with new mediums and techniques. I also use digital tools like Procreate and Photoshop for sketching and making adjustments or final touches, which adds flexibility to my process.
