Hoyd Breton’s ongoing research into design, emotion, and everything between. | Soft Ratios I made this to teach myself Throughout the week I pick one subject to expand my design practice. It could be around a material (plywood), a property of beauty (proportions), or a muse from nature (chamomile). I research it on my own, and I dispatch a couple of agents to dig alongside me. Then I review everything, sit with it all, and highlight the most interesting things. My internal tool drafts a script, I read it, I listen to it voiced, and if it lands as one of my favorite learnings, I share it as a podcast episode. I’ve been tuning that tool to keep the educational goal front and center, without any of the false chummy energy of NotebookLM (as much as I initially enjoyed it).
