A multicultural team dedicated to learning Hello, we’re Darren and Crystal , the D and the C behind Easy DC Chinese. Darren is an English teacher from the UK who currently lives and works in Spain. When he’s not in the classroom, he’s a language learner himself, studying French and Mandarin Chinese. Whilst learning Chinese, Darren quickly realised there was a problem: there wasn’t enough high-quality audio material for beginners. Finding simple, slow-paced and useful audio content that would really help train the ear turned out to be surprisingly difficult.
