Hicks.design is Jon Hicks, established 2002. | Jon Hicks standing in front of his icons at the V&A Museum East in 2025 Hicks .design is Jon Hicks, collaborating with clients worldwide from my studio in Oxfordshire, UK, since 2002. I am most known for my branding work for Firefox, MailChimp and Shopify, but my skills cover a much broader spectrum of services and mediums. I simply call myself a Graphic Designer , as that encompasses everything I enjoy doing: creating visual languages and communicating through symbols, illustration and typography. I also love designing with CSS. This site doesn't use any @media query breakpoints. It uses a flexible 'content out' methodology, where the width of the content, not the screen, decides the layout
