The National Foundation for Piano Conservation is devoted not only to the preservation of the instrument itself - the piano - but to the conservation of every skill, trade, and resource necessary to sustain it. We believe the piano is more than a musical instrument; it is the king of instruments, a symbol of human expression, culture, and craftsmanship. Our vision is to rescue pianos from landfills, abandoned homes, and forgotten corners, and to receive them through generous donations. But saving a piano requires far more than just good intentions - it demands a network of skilled piano technicians, experienced piano movers, expert refinishers, access to high-quality replacement parts, and the financial support to make all of this possible.
