In fact, after graduating from Ouachita Baptist and Baylor with my degrees in Sports Marketing, I thought I might end up being an Athletic Director one day. Boy, was I wrong! God had other plans! My career in athletics took me to 4 schools and states in 5 years. I had to become an expert at building and rebuilding my community. God knew exactly what He was doing when He was teaching me about the importance of community and solitude with Him. Fast forward 10 years, and I get a call to write a cookbook. Me?
