About - Compass Bible Church Long Beach --> Our Story Register On January 12, 2025, Compass Bible Church Huntington Beach commissioned a group of people to plant a church in Long Beach. Under the leadership of Josh Petras and Bruce Blakey, this church was sent out to proclaim the gospel, reach the lost, and strengthen believers through the preaching of the gospel. Compass Bible Church Long Beach officially started on February 2, 2025. From the beginning, our mission has been to make disciples of Jesus for the glory of God.
