Together with my mother, I lived a nomadic life, and during my childhood I had more contact with cats, dogs, and horses than with humans. It all started with my first dog, whom I found in the streets of Romania, severely abused. This encounter was the spark for my deep commitment. Later, I adopted another dog, also severely traumatized, from an animal shelter. The support offered at the time by dog trainers felt insufficient and not very helpful. This motivated me to train as a dog trainer myself and to specialize intensively in the complex topic of trauma in animals.
