The idea first arose when —after discussing a Band of Brothers scene for the umpteenth time—we (Sam and Maartje) joked that we talk about WW2 media so often that we should start a podcast. For many weeks, nothing came of it, but it bounced around in our heads enough for Sam to bring it up again, and this time, a couple of days later, we recorded our first episodes.
