Thank you so much for visiting A Vintage Farmwife . I am so glad you are here! I am a farmwife who once was a farmer’s daughter ….and granddaughter ….and great-granddaughter ….and you get the picture! I taught junior high language arts for many years after staying home with our three sons when they were little. Those years flew by and were very special, and I am so glad that I was able to stay home with them and that we resisted the urge to follow the crowd to the workplace. When one of my dear friends was diagnosed with lung cancer, I began to do some soul-searching and decided that I wanted to take early retirement.
